Age, Size, Health, and the Location of the tree are always the first things I will look at. This allows me to get an understanding of what will be entailed in dismantling the tree and getting it on the ground.

At this time I’m also able to assess the risks involved. Are there any obstacles i.e.; power lines, utilities, fences, house etc? What kind of rigging will be involved? How much material is there? How far will we have to move it? What kind of terrain is involved? What equipment is needed to haul the material? These are just a handful of the things I take into consideration when looking at a project.

So as you can see, there are many dynamics that can affect the cost of your tree removal project. There are many things that need be taken into consideration on any given job. Kats is a really an excellent arborist. He takes his time to plan the best possible way he can trim taking into account the tree's needs as well as the esthetics. Kat’s trimmed three large oak trees and removed a smaller oak. They are a professional crew who are very safety minded and took extreme care not to damage any other plants or shrubs. They took their time to do the job safely and debris free. Kat’s won’t try to up sell you on work that does not need to be done. One tree in particular, I went with their recommendation and was glad I did. They cut back some branches and thinned the tree out in spots. This turned out better that removing some of the limbs I recommended. I will use Kat’s Tree Services in the future and highly recommend them for a professional job done safely.

They removed a large tree next to our pool. The roots were pushing pavers up on the pool deck. Kats took the tree down and ground the stump. Kats had to climb the tree since access was limited. Work was done last summer. They worked fast and safely.
